Skippers Ticket Training

Australian Boating College, Western Australia provides two Course Options for your boat and PWC Recreational Skippers Ticket Training and Assessment

• Option 1 – Comprehensive Training and Assessment Course.
  $250 ($240 per person for 2 or more)
  This is our most popular course, as you get additional face to face theory training on the day as a refresher, simplifying and explaining any areas of concern to you. There is also no further charges if you fail at any stage of the Recreational Skippers Ticket . You get to resit theory or practical for free as many times as is necessary. You will receive our free online course which you can work thru at home to prepare for the test.

*A $10 surcharge is added to weekend and public holiday courses so we can pay our trainers properly for giving up their weekends

• Option 2 – Fast Track Course.
  $220 ($210 per person for 2 or more)
  This is our budget priced, streamlined course, where you’ve chosen you don’t need any face to face theory training and rules refresher with our trainer. This saves us time on the day so we can reduce our fee. We provide full training for the practical but you need to have the theory sorted. There are no guarantees with this option as it’s up to you. If you fail the theory it is $40 to resit, and $80 if you need to resit the practical. You will receive our free online course which you can work thru at home to prepare for the test.

Note: There is a $28.90 Department of Transport fee for every Recreational Skippers Ticket in Western Australia that we must collect off you for the Department of Transport. This is payable at the end of the course once you have passed.

Private Courses Available

A large percentage of our courses are private courses, that is a private group usually at someones house or place of work.

If you have at least 5 participants who want to get their Recreational Skippers Ticket through a training course please contact us.

It won’t cost you any extra and we come to you… now that’s service.

If you are located in the Country Region, then we can also come to you. Just add $50 per hour travelling time to the fee.
